The Consultancy has its roots in the Defence Diversification Agency (DDA), a national, regionally based MoD technology and knowledge transfer brokerage, closed as a savings measure in June 2007.
KH Technology Broking started in Nov 2007 initially running a technology transfer project for 32 companies in Devon for the North Devon and Exmoor Development Corporation and an offset Project for Agusta Westland. Since then the Consultancy has gained a wide range of SME clients who have been assisted to obtain Intellectual Property from research institutes and Universities, funding from Technology Strategy Board research and development grants and competitions, Defra Link and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. The brokerage has helped clients to win research contracts from the MoD and assisted with the management of a range of Intellectual Property Rights.
